PP9815 (XPPC 8) introduces Intel’s Twin Lake N150 platform, combining four processing cores, speeds of up to 3.6GHz and support for DDR4 memory within a low-power 6W processor architecture. Compared with the previous XPPC 7 (J6412) generation, the XPPC 8 provides substantially greater processing headroom for transaction-heavy retail environments, multi-window EPOS software.
The CPU benchmark comparison shows that N150 performs better on both TDP abd passmark. It is nearly 44% faster than J6412.

A major upgrade is the redesigned connectivity platform. Alongside traditional POS interfaces including cash drawer, COM, USB, Gigabit LAN and FEC Smart I/O, PP9815 introduces USB-C with Power Delivery and dedicated DisplayPort++ connection. This means a single cable can handle everything simultaneously, including data, media display and power.
